On March 3rd, two suicide drones operated by Turkish forces targeted civilian residences and a Syrian regime army position in the village of Al-Aqimiyah, located in the Sharan district of rural Afrin, north of Aleppo, according to our reporter in the region. The extent of the damage caused by the attacks is currently under assessment.
Furthermore, Turkish forces conducted artillery shelling on the village of Madyoneh in the Shahba region of northern Aleppo countryside, resulting in material damage with no reported casualties.
In a separate incident, a soldier named Ibrahim Muhammad Ali from the Syrian regime army was fatally shot by a sniper on the 46th Brigade axis in western Aleppo countryside. This event coincided with the Syrian regime army’s artillery shelling of positions held by the “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” organization on the Kafr Amah and Al-Qasr axis in western Aleppo countryside.
