Three individuals, including two armed IDPs, were killed today, February 25, in a brawl over a piece of land near the Al-Muhammadiyah settlement in the Jindires subdistrict of occupied Afrin.
Our correspondent reported that an IDP from the Shibli clan cultivated agricultural land seized by the “Jaish al-Nasr” militia near the Al-Muhammadiyah settlement in Jindires. This sparked a dispute between IDPs hailing from Qal’at al-Madiq in Hama countryside, who are affiliated with the “Jaish al-Nasr,” and IDPs from the Shibli clan originating from the village of Salloua in eastern Idlib countryside, associated with the “Nour al-Din al-Zenki” militia.
The correspondent indicated that the dispute escalated into an exchange of gunfire between the parties, resulting in the deaths of two members of the “Jaish al-Nasr” militia, one identified as “Mohammed Iyas Al-Jaddou,” and an IDP from the Shibli clan. The military police militia dispatched reinforcements to quell the clash.
