Each passing day witnesses the sale of homes forcibly seized from Kurdish citizens in the occupied city of Afrin, orchestrated by IDPs, armed groups, and leaders of Ankara-backed militias.
In this context, an IDP has sold two houses located behind Maisaloun School on Aleppo Road in Al-Ashrafieh district to another IDP named “Abdul Rahman Al-Shami.” He previously affiliated with the “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia in the industrial area. The transaction amounted to $1,700 for each of the two houses.
The ownership of these homes belonged to the forcibly displaced citizen “Kamal Jameel” from the village of Basoufan in the Sherawa district of Afrin.
Our sources reported another IDP, originating from the Tell al-Daman district in the Aleppo countryside, selling two houses he had seized near the Hakim Building in al-Ashrafieh nighborhood of occupied Afrin on January 4. The ownership of these homes belonged to the citizen “Mohammed Ali Mohammed” from the village of Aranda in the Sheikh al-Hadid\ Şiyê district. The sale was completed for $700 for each house.
