On January 6, young man “Shiyar Zuhair Mohammed” suffered severe injuries after being hit by shrapnel from one of the shells launched on the village of Soughonaké in the district of Sherawa, west of occupied Afrin.
Shiyar, forcibly displaced from the Sherawa district, resides in the city of Tell Rifaat in northern Aleppo. He was promptly evacuated to Avrin Hospital in Al-Shahba region for medical attention.
Turkish forces have relentlessly and violently targeted the villages of Mayasa, Aqiba, Soughonaké in the Sherawa district of occupied Afrin. The attacks involve intense rocket and heavy artillery bombardment on Kashtaar, Tanab, Kafr Anton, Maranaz, Shawargha, and Al-Malkiya in the Sharan district of occupied Afrin.
