A motorcycle rigged with explosives detonated today, December 27, in the heart of Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood on Sarfis Street in the occupied city of Afrin.
Our correspondent reported that the explosion resulted in injuries to five individuals, most of whom are children. Among the wounded are 1.5-year-old Noor Al-Huda Tali, 19-year-old Muayyad Fawaz Al-Ali, 6-year-old Jamal Haji, 6-year-old Shiban Hatem Khalasi, and an unidentified person. The blast also caused material damage to civilian shops and nearby vehicles.
Noting that the perpetrating party behind the explosion remains unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
