Turkish Authorities Detain Kurds Over Alleged Links to Previous Administration in Afrin

In a recent development, Turkish forces have arrested Kurdish individuals, accusing them of connections with the former Autonomous Administration in the occupied Afrin region.

Our correspondent revealed that the Military Police Anti-Terrorism Division apprehended “Khalil Youssef” (30) from the village of Dîkê in the Bulbul district. The arrest unfolded at his residence in Afrin’s Mahmoudiya neighborhood, about ten days ago.

Similarly, “Mustafa Shahin” (46) was taken into custody approximately twenty days ago near the Newroz roundabout, at his workplace located at the end of the Rajo road in Afrin.

Earlier this month, on November 23, Turkish intelligence detained “Majid Othman” (55) from the village of Qilkê\Qelke in the Jindires district. Othman faces allegations of being a member of the neighborhood council in Jindires town (Komin Jindires) during the former Autonomous Administration in the occupied Afrin region.
