Our sources in Afrin reported that Turkish forces have detained five individuals, including a woman, all with medical backgrounds. Among those arrested is the pharmacist “Haitham Ali,” originally from the Eastern Ghouta region of Damascus, who was residing in the occupied city of Afrin.
According to insider sources, over the past week, the Turkish military police and civil police carried out a series of arrests targeting medical personnel, both Kurdish locals and IDPs, in the occupied city of Afrin. The reasons behind these arrests remain undisclosed.
The campaign began with the detention of Dr. “Lazgin Saleh,” hailing from the village of Kurzeleh in the central region, apprehended from his residence in occupied Afrin on September 5th.
