Afrin Post – Exclusive
On September 7th, afrinpost received reports regarding the arrest of Mr. Shiyar Ramzi Sheikhou, a 30-year-old citizen originally hailing from Hassan Dera village in the Bulbul subdistrict. The arrest took place on August 24th, following a summons to the Military Police militia’s headquarters within the subdistrict.
Mr. Shiyar had previously resided in Aleppo city but returned to his village before being summoned and subsequently detained by the Military Police militia. He was subsequently transferred to Marateh Prison in the occupied city of Afrin.
This incident follows a previous report by afrinpost on September 5th, documenting the arrest of Mr. Mustafa Muhammad bin Hannan, aged 45, from Sharqiya village in the Bulbul subdistrict of Afrin, with no disclosed reasons for his apprehension.
