The “Watan Construction Engineering Company” has announced the successful completion of a project involving the construction and equipping of 100 residential units for the “ONSUR” Global Relief and Development Organization in Afrin.
This initiative comes after the “Khayr Foundation – Middle East Office” unveiled plans in February 2023 for a new settlement village on Mount Lelun to aid earthquake survivors. The project aims to provide permanent housing solutions for displaced individuals affected by the earthquake.
Sheikh “Imam Qasim,” Chairman of the “Khayr Foundation,” laid the foundation for the village, emphasizing collaboration with the “ONSUR” Foundation. The settlement is designed for families, offering spacious homes and expanded facilities.
The “ONSUR” Relief and Development Global Organization operates in Turkish-controlled areas, extending assistance to Turkey as well. This project signifies a new chapter, as over 3 families have been settled in a compound near Khaldeh/Khalta Village.
