An IDP from the Al-Qaboun neighborhood in Damascus was killed yesterday, July 14th, during a raid operation conducted by the Military Police militia in the village of Ister in the occupied Afrin countryside.
According to our correspondent, the Afrin Military Police militia raided a house in the village of Ister, searching for wanted individuals. An exchange of gunfire occurred between the patrol members and the wanted individuals, resulting in the death of “Faisal Al-Halbouni” or “Abu Khaled” due to a gunshot wound to the head.
Our correspondent noted that the IDP happened to be passing by at the moment of the gunfire exchange between the two parties, as the Military Police patrol failed to apprehend the wanted individuals they were targeting.
