IDPs in the occupied region of Afrin are emboldened by SNA armed groups elements and exploit their numerical superiority and the disregard of Turkish authorities and security forces to attack native Kurdish residents.

This morning, an IDP brutally beat a Kurdish young man from the village of Badeena – Rajo sub-district, after failing to steal his mobile phone in the occupied city of Afrin.

According to our correspondent, an IDP from the town of al-Neirab in the countryside of Aleppo attacked the 17-year-old “Mohammed Hussein” near a tailor shop on the Aleppo road at the Qaws checkpoint after attempting to forcibly take his mobile phone, which led to him being stabbed in the hand.

On April 15, 2023, two IDPs attacked the young citizen “Abdo Mustafa” from the village of Shetana, affiliated with the Mobata/Ma’batli sub-district, in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of the occupied city of Afrin.

According to the correspondent, “Abdo,” who is 17 years old and an orphan, was attacked by two IDPs who hit him on the head and stabbed him in the leg. He was taken to the hospital and discharged the next day, and was forced to drop the charges against them.
