In a recent development, afrinpost has learned that a young man named Mahmoud Hussein Jassim has been arrested by the Turkish-allied military police militia in Afrin, Syria. The arrest took place on April 5th, according to sources.

Mahmoud, who is only 18 years old and works as a crane operator, resides near Bilal Mosque in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of the occupied city of Afrin. The reasons behind his arrest by the military police militia remain unclear and have not been disclosed.
