Unknown gunmen riding in a Hyundai Santa Fe vehicle reportedly shot and killed “Saleh Al-Zeid”, from Deir ez-Zor province who was staying at a displaced persons camp in the village of Deir Ballout, located in the countryside of Jindires district. According to our reporter, the incident occurred on Monday due to long-standing disputes and revenge between the two parties.
The gunmen fired a barrage of bullets at the victim in front of a crowd of locals. To ensure his death, they also fired several shots at his head, resulting in his immediate death. In response, the locals set up flaming roadblocks inside the camp.
The locals accuse the security forces and the National Army militias of neglecting to protect citizens due to the random spread of weapons within the camp, without any accountability or oversight. They accuse these militias of committing atrocities and are calling for another revolution against the thugs and corrupt officials in the Ankara-backed militias.
