12 Relief Trucks Arrive in Syria from Kurdistan via Bab al-Salama.

afrinpost – Exclusive

This Friday evening, 12 trucks loaded with relief materials, provided by the Barzani Charity Association, entered Syrian territory via the Bab al-Salama crossing in the occupied city of Azaz in northern Aleppo. The convoy came from the Kurdistan region of Iraq, two days after the Turkish occupation forces prevented the entry of these trucks into Syria.

The individuals responsible for the convoy stated that they plan to proceed to the cities of Afrin and Jindires in a statement to the Kurdish Rudaw channel.

On the other hand, the Turkish occupation authorities and their armed militias continue to block the entry of a humanitarian aid convoy provided by the Autonomous Administration in northeastern Syria. The convoy has been waiting at the Umm Jalud crossing in Manbij countryside for two days, hoping for permission to enter the northwestern regions of Syria.

Regarding the Bab al-Hawa crossing in Idlib, it was closed by the Turkish occupation immediately after a devastating earthquake took place. Today, a few trucks entered Syrian territory, barely supplying the basic needs of the people, including food, medical supplies, and other logistical materials.
