Our reporter in Afrin stated that Alaa Al-Din Muhammad, nicknamed Abu Walid Al-Ghoutani (35 years old), an IDP from Eastern Ghouta, had sold a house he seized to another IDP from Al-Qalamoun, for $1,200. The house is located in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood near El-Feel Street, and it is owned by the Kurdish citizen Muhammad Ali from the village of Ashouneh.
The IDP is affiliated with the “Jaish Al-Islam” militia. He sold the house and fled to the occupied city of Al-Bab in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, the reporter added.
In the last period, there has been an increase in the sale of the seized property of the people of Afrin as the IDP and militants affiliated with Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya and Jaish Al-Islam are settling their matters and flee the city, especially after the campaigns carried out to track them down by “Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham” after taking control over the city of Afrin and the villages they used to control.
