The recent events in the city of Afrin and many of its villages resulted in the expulsion of the “Third Legion” militants and the expansion of “Al-Amashat” militants, allied with Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham.
Our reporter said that a meeting was held today, Saturday, 12/11/2022, between Turkish intelligence and leaders of the “Suleiman Shah / Al-Amshat” militia, and the meeting was held at the headquarters of the former Martyrs’ Families Foundation in the old neighborhood of Afrin.
The reporter added that the aim of the meeting was handing over the file of the occupied city of Afrin in full to the militants of “Suleiman Shah / Al-Amshat,” indicating that this decision would be a direct cover for the presence of “Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham” militants, which entered Afrin in alliance with the “Amashat” and “Al-Hamzat” militias.
In another context, the reporter said that chasing Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya militants continues in the city of Afrin, after they were expelled from it as a result of the recent clashes, where the return of some families and women of them to some of the seized houses was monitored.
With regard to the decision to end all armed presence in the city of Afrin and evacuate all the headquarters of the military militias, our reporter confirmed that nothing has changed to date, and that the decision was mere a media promotion and propaganda.
