Reliable sources stated that Turkish intelligence arrested, on September 28, 2022, Khalil Hesso and Hussein Hesso, who are cousins from Ashkan Sharqi village in Jindires district, on charges of belonging to the People’s Protection Units (YPG) during the former Autonomous Administration in Afrin.
The Human Rights Organization in Afrin reported that Turkish intelligence in the center of Mobata district raided on September 29, 2022 the house of “Fathi Jundi” (55 years), from the village of Hisseh / Merkan, and arrested him on charges of cooperating with the former Autonomous Administration, and he was released the next day, after the arrest of his two daughters “Media and Lina Fathi Jundi” on the same accusationin.
Fathi Jundi’s doughters were taken to the military headquarters in the center of the district, without knowing their fate until now.
“afrinpost” documented, last September, 50 cases of arrest and kidnapping, including the arrest of a female and two children by Syrian Regime forces, and 6 cases of kidnapping of IDPs. Also, 37 cases of release were documented, some of which were arrested previously. In addition, the arbitrary detention of Kurdish persons by Iran-allied militias on the highway, where they were forced to stay in their car.
