The Turkish-backed “Samarkand” militia is gathering 300 workers, by order of its leader, “Thaer Maarouf” to steal the green olive crop in the village of Kafr Safra, according to our sources in the village.
On Thursday, September 29, 2022, IDP families of the armed men of the “Samarkand” militia stole green olive crop and broke the branches of the trees from the field belonging to the Kuredish person “Hussein Rashid Mahmoud”, despite his residence in the village. The militia also seized 720 olive trees, including crops belonging to his forcibly displaced brother, “Ahmed Mahmoud”, and they harvested the entire crop.
On the other hand, the economic office the “Samarkand” militia seized more than two thousand fruitful olive trees three days ago, from a field located in the plain of the village of Kafr Safra after invalidating the legal agency owned by the citizen “Bashir Jalal Murad”, and completely harvested it. The office also seized 1200 olive trees from a field owned by the citizens “Rasheed Matina and Khalil Abdo (parque)” located in Kafr Safra plain, and harvested the olive crop.
