Ongoing thefts of olive crop in Afrin countryside

A number of thefts of the olive crop were reported in the past few days, including 8 cans of olive oil and two gas cylinders from the house of Issam Muhammad, a resident of Jindires town, who lives in the vicinity of Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood park in the occupied city of Afrin, taking advantage of the presence in the olive press.

On the other hand, 9 IDPs from Hama countryside, residing in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, stole olives from fields belonging to the people of Qibare village, with a blue Hyundai car in broad daylight, where in the same area 15 olive trees belonging to the Kurdish person Hannan Muhammad, were logged from roots.

In the village of Jwaiq, 7 large sacks of green olives were stolen in broad daylight, while the owner of the field (Hannan Othman Hussein) and his workers were having lunch at the other end of the field.

In Bulbul district, armed thieves and IDPs stole the crop of 10 olive trees belonging to the citizen Muhammad Ma’mo at night from his field located in the village of Kela, knowing that the area is under the control of pro-Ankara “Faylaq Al Majd” militia.
