Pro-Iranian militias from the cities of Nubl and Al-Zahraa have imposed a siege on the forcibly displaced people of Afrin in the al-Shahba region and have been holding a number of persons on the Aleppo-Afrin road for four days.

According to our reporter, the militias are detaining a number of the displaced people of Afrin with their cars between the cities of Nubl and Al-Zahraa and preventing them from heading to the al-Shahba area, while preventing others from getting off their cars on the Aleppo-Afrin highway towards Aleppo or even going to nearby shops to buy their needs.

The reporter pointed out that the pro-Iranian militias did not imprison the persons, but rather confined them in their cars on the road, under difficult conditions and high temperatures, where many cases of faintin among them have been reported.

On September 11, sporadic clashes with light and medium machine guns took place between the Afrin Liberation Forces and a group of smugglers from the cities of Nubl and Al-Zahraa who were trying to smuggle people and materials from Afrin towards Shirawa district near the village of Aqiba, without causing any casualties among the two parties.
