Kurdish person arrested by Turkish intelligence in Afrin’s Al-Ashrafiyeh

The Turkish intelligence in Rajo district arrested Yesterday, Tuesday evening, “Salah Rashid Hamo” (39 years), from the village of Dikeh – Rajo district, one day after the arrest of his cousin.

Our reporter in Rajo said that a Turkish intelligence patrol raided the village of Dikeh and collected information about its people who moved to the city of Afrin following its occupation of the area, and subsequently arrested the citizen “Salah Hamo” from his home in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood at around six o’clock in the evening.

It is worth noting that the Turkish-backed “Faylaq Al-Sham” militia kidnapped on Monday, August 22, the cousin of Hamo’s father, the elderly person “Sheikho Hamo” (66 years), when he was heading to the militia’s headquarters in the village of Meydan Akbas, for the purpose of regularizing his situation after his return from the city of Aleppo.

Arrests are often carried out arbitrarily at security checkpoints or through “violent” raids accompanied by thorough searches of homes and insulting their owners, on flimsy charges, mostly on the relationship with the former Autonomous Administration or communication with Kurdish military authorities.
