Pro-Ankara militias sell four seized houses of Kurds in Syria’s Afrin

Several illegal sales of the homes of the original Kurdish residents of Afrin by the Turkish-backed militias took place during the period from the beginning of the current month of July until the days of Eid al-Adha, July 9, in the occupied city of Afrin.

The Turkish-supported “Jaish al-Sharqiya” militia has sold a land, located near the western highway (Mazout Street) in Afrin, owned by the al-Ghubari family of the people of Bineh village – Shirawa district, to the local council in Afrin for the purpose of constructing a new building for the council, without revealing the selling price.

In the same context, an element of the “Lulu Nazif” group affiliated with the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia sold the house of the forcibly displaced citizen “Ibrahim Mahmoud” from the village of Anqala – Shiyeh district, which is located at the al-Vellat road, for a sum of $3,000, to one of his relatives, an IPD.

The same element also sold the house of “Mohammed Hajj Fadel” from the village of Qatmeh – Shara district, located on Al-Mahkamah Street between al-Gharbi and al-Vellat road, for $2000, to an IDP from Hama.

As for the element called “Na’im al-Faraj”, one of the leaders in the Turksih-backed “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia, he sold the house of Muhyi al-Din Muhammad Omar (from the village of Baadina – Rajo district), located on al-Serfis road, to an IDP from Douma for $1800.
