afrinpost – Exclusive

About a week ago, Turkish intelligence arrested a Kurdish citizen in the village of Hammam, in Jindires sub-district, after returning from the city of Aleppo.

Our reporter stated that the Turkish intelligence arrested the 32-year-old citizen Shukri Ahmed Kendi, after he arrived in his village, and he was taken to a prison in the city of Afrin, in preparation for his submission to the judiciary, without being able to know the charge against him.

The reporter added that “Kendi” paid 700 US dollars to one of the smugglers in exchange for his delivery to his village, and 1500 US dollars to the Turkish-backed “Jaish al-Sharqiya” militia which guaranteed that he would not be arrested. However, the Turkish intelligence arrested him immediately and he will be presented today, Thursday, to the court in Afrin city.
