“Faylaq al-Majd” militants steal half a ton of sumac in Zarka-Rajo

Late on Thursday night, a group of armed thieves stole the sumac crop from the home of a Kurdish citizen in the village of Zarka, in Rajo sub-district, in the occupied Afrin region in northern Syria.

According to our sources, a group of the Turkish-backed “Al-Majd Corps” militia stole about 600 kg of sumac crop from the yard of the house of the citizen “Abdul Rahman Daoud” in the village of Zarka.

The theft of the sumac season continues throughout Afrin region, as “our reporter monitored the theft of the seasonal crop in the villages of Keferdelê in Jindires sub-district, Kaxrê and Şîtka in Maabatli sub-district, especially after the price of a kilo of sumac reached 7,000 Syrian pounds in Afrin markets.
