The Turkish occupation authorities released five citizens of Afrin, including an Arab, who spent varying periods of detention in the prisons of the Turkish authorities and its militias.

The afrinpost reporter reported that the Turkish authorities released the citizen Abdullah Asri, is an Arab from the people of Afrin, and he resides in the old neighborhood of Afrin, and Abdullah has spent more than three years in the Turkish prisons, including more than two years in Al-Rai prison, he was transferred to Marata Central Prison, then he was released.

The Turkish authorities also released the Kurdish citizen, Shivan Muhammad, from the village of Haj Qasmo, after he paid a ransom of one thousand dollars.

The Kurdish citizen, Ahmed Ibrahim, from the village of Xelîleka- Bulbul district, was released after paying a ransom of 1,500 Turkish liras to the court, and after a 10-day detention.

From the prison of the “Military Police” militia located in the Trade School in the occupied city of Afrin, the Kurdish citizen, Muhammad Mustafa Muhammad (57 years), known as “Çençelî”, from the village of Çençeliya- Rajo, was released two weeks ago, after being detained for three months, after paying a ransom of 3,500 Turkish liras.

Muhammad Mustafa, a retired employee of the Electricity Company, works in a washing machine repair shop in the Ashrafieh neighborhood. His family had left the city of Afrin for Aleppo, and he returned alone, and the “Military Police” militia arrested him from his home in the Ashrafieh neighborhood.

The Turkish occupation authorities also released the Kurdish citizen, Khoshnav Yusef Kilij, (30 years), from Afrin Central Prison located in the village of Maratha / Maratah, after paying a ransom of one thousand dollars.
