The Turkish-backed “Faylaq Al-Sham” militia has threatened Kurdish families in the village of Kibeshin in the eastern countryside of Afrin, to evacuate their homes at gunpoint, under the pretext that they are located on the line of contact with “Afrin Liberation Forces”.
Our correspondent in the region stated that Faylaq al-Sham militia threatened the two citizens (Barakat Mamed Hussein and Alo Mamed Hussein) and their families to evict their homes within a period of 10 days – the deadline started on May 30, 2021.
The correspondent indicated that the militiamen stormed the houses of the two families and threatened to use force to expel them if they did not comply with the evacuation order, on the pretext that the Afrin Liberation Forces are carrying out their operations from that side.
The two families live in confusion, and they are terrified that the militia will harm them if they insist on not leaving their homes.
