Our reporter stated that about a month and a half ago, the 20-year-old young man (Akid Muhammad), who is from the village of Kokane, went to the village of Sheikh Bila in Rajo sub-district, and during the visit, his forcibly displaced uncle asked him to take a picture of his house.

The young man, Akid, did not know that there was a headquarters of the Turkish-backed “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia next to his displaced uncle’s house, where armed men came out and arrested him immediately, accusing him of photographing the house of one of those who dealt with the “party/ referring to the autonomous administration”, because they consider all Kurdish citizens, who were forcibly displaced from Afrin, belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces, the reporter added.

The reporter, quoting a source from the village of Kokane, stated that the citizen, Akid, had been kidnapped by the militia for 17 days, in difficult conditions, despite his poor health and illness, and his family was forced to pay a ransom of a thousand Turkish liras for his release about a month ago, but the gunmen did not return him his phone, which they confiscated from him when he was kidnapped.
