Today, Saturday, our sources reported that the Turkish-backed “Liwa al-Shamal” militia began selling the shops it had previously built on the campus of al-Baladi stadium in the center of occupied Afrin region in northern Syria, due to Ankara’s reluctance to pay them their salaries, which undermined their confidence in Turkey and feared a new deal to topple them.
The sources pointed out that the militia, which is stationed in the former headquarters of “al-Shabiba” and headed by “Abu Suleiman”, who is from Aleppo, is currently offering the shops (60 stores) built within the stadium campus for sale, in an amount of ten thousand dollars for each store, noting that the militia was renting each shop for $ 150 per month, except that it intends to sell all shops after not receiving their salaries for the third month, which led to the erosion of the militia leaders ’confidence in Turkey, and their fear that they will be overthrown according to new deals.
Knowing that the same militia has built, in October 2020, shops on the southern side of the municipal stadium after removing the wall, in order to invest them in their favor.
