IDP from Douma refuses to return a Kurdish citizen’s house, in Afrin

Our correspondent in the Afrin center stated that an IDP from Douma- Damascus countryside, who has seized the house of the Kurdish citizen “Ahmed Khalil” for more than 3 years, refuses to evict it despite, despite a complaint submitted to the “Civil Police” militia The so-called “Rights Restitution Committee” by the Kurdish citizen.

The citizen “Khalil” is from the village of Khalilaka – Bulbul sub-district, and his house is located in the vicinity of “Bilal” mosque in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood – 3rd floor.

As well as, the Turkish-backed “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” militia seized a real estate property located in the vicinity of the Wednesday market “Afrin Bazaar,” owned by the “Osman Agha” family, and the militia set up earth mounds around the 400-square-meter real estate record, noting that the owners are in Afrin.

The percentage of private property (houses – real estate – fields of fruit trees – agricultural lands) seized by the militants and their IDP families from different regions of Syria is estimated at 60%, and this is done under Turkey’s supervision and under pretext that they are war spoils and are considered “party property”, referring to the supporters of the Autonomous Administration.
