Six Turkish-backed militants were killed and others were wounded this morning, Wednesday, as a result of an infiltration operation carried out by the Afrin Liberation Forces on the “Basufan” axis in Sherawa sub-district.
Our correspondent reported that the Afrin Liberation Forces had carried out an infiltration operation targeting the pro-Turkey “Jabhat al-sham” militia points in Basufan village, as well as targeting a motorbike on which militants were traveling and a military vehicle carring guided missiles, killing 6 militants and wounding others.
The correspondent documented the names of four dead militants of Faylaq al-Sham militia, namely: “Abu Basel, Abu Hamza, Abu Omar, Abu Saddam, and all of the dead were from the city of Daraya, Damascus countryside.”
Following that, the Turkish forces began shelling the axes of the villages of Sherawa intensively with heavy artillery, and the targeted villages are Maranaz, Shawarghah, Malikiyah, Soghankeh, Kaluteh, Beneh and Mayasa. Adding that no information was obtained about casualties so far.
