The fate of the Kurdish citizen Abdullah Abdik Ali, 66, has been unknown since he was kidnapped on March 28, 2018, by gunmen from “Sultan Murad” militia, according to afrinpost sources.
“Ali”, from the village of Xirabê Şera, suffered from several diseases before his abduction, and he returned with his wife to his home in the village in the first days of the occupation, after his forcible displacement to al-Shahba areas.
Regarding the circumstances of his abduction, the sources stated that the elderly Abdullah and his wife wanted to inspect a relative’s house in the village, but they were surprised by the gunmen occupying it, and who refused to allow them to enter the house, and a verbal quarrel broke out between the two parties, until one of the gunmen surprised his wife and removed her bag from her hand, including the money and gold jewelry in it, and fled to outside the village, prompting the husband to insult the gunmen who left him alone.
The sources added that an armed group of the same militia, “Sultan Murad” stormed the house of “Abdullah” on the night of the same day 28/3/2018, and kidnapped him after covering his head with a black bag, and his fate is still unknown.
According to the information reported by the sources, the family sought various means to reveal his fate, until one of the militia gunmen pledged to do it in exchange for paying him $ 4,500, it became clear later that the gunman’s attempt was nothing but a fraud, as he took the money and disappeared from the village!
