The Russian forces returned, yesterday, to their military points in the city of Tell Rifaat and the village of Kashtaar yesterday, Wednesday, one day after they evacuated them and headed to points near the city of Aleppo, according to North-Press Agency.
The Russian retreat from the decision to withdraw comes in conjunction with a Turkish drone throwing leaflets on the city of Tell Rifaat, containing intimidating expressions calling on the displaced people of Afrin there to leave the town and save their lives and the lives of their children, as it puts it.
In an official comment on the Russian withdrawal, the deputy co-presidency of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria told “Afrin Post” that ambiguity still surrounds the Russian move and the withdrawal from the town of Tal Rifat and Kashtar and its surroundings, and gathering them in points close to the city of Aleppo, calling on the Russian leadership to play the role Assigned to it, stressing the Autonomous Administration’s readiness to solve the outstanding problems through dialogue.
