Three Kurdish citizens were kidnapped, in Mabata district

Pro-Turkey Islamic militias kidnapped 3 Kurdish citizens from Mabata / Maabatli district in two separate incidents, while the kidnappers stipulated payment of ransoms for the release of the kidnapped citizens.

Two weeks ago, an unknown armed group, kidnapped the Kurdish citizen Idris Muhammad -35 years old- from Kokaneh village-Mabata / Maabatli district, and the kidnappers are demanding his family pay 3000 dollars for his release, according to our correspondent.

“Idris used to live in al-Ashrafieh neighborhood-Afrin. He works as a construction worker, and his father sells water by a portable tanker.” The correspondent added.

Furthermore, on Monday 3/3/2021, the Turkish-backed militants kidnapped the Kurdish citizens: Amin Zaki Mannan / Abu Shero (52 years) and Jamil Muhammad Ibrahim (48 years), both of the residents of the village of Gamruk-Mabata district, and they were kidnapped while they were on their way from their village to the city of Afrin, and the militants are asking the kidnapped families to pay a ransom of 1,000 Turkish liras for each of them to release them, while no further information is known about them, according to Afrin Activists Network.
