“Suqour al-Sham” militia kidnapped a Kurdish citizen and subjected him to torture over a period of three days, then released him, and justified the torture by the similarity of names.
Afrinpost correspondent reported that “Suqour al-Sham” militia gunmen kidnapped the Kurdish youth Hamza Hamo (30 years) from his house in Zaara village in the Bulbul / Bulbul sub-district, about a week ago. They accused him of dealing with the Autonomous Administration, and citizen Hamza remained in detention for three days, during which he was severely tortured by “Suquor al-Sham” militia gunmen.
The correspondent added that the militia released the citizen Hamzah, and told him that he was kidnapped by mistake because of the similarity of names.
