Clashes between “Hamzat” gunmen due to a dispute over sharing the properties of the people of the village of Fireriye

Militia competition over property sharing is one of the most common phenomena among the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation, known as the “National Army,” and the result is either fighting or bombings and liquidations among their ranks.

Afrinpost correspondent reported that armed elements of “Hamzat” militia of the Turkish occupation army surrounded the village of Fireriye in Jenderes district in Afrin after clashes occurred over the sharing of property.

Sources told the Afrinpost correspondent that “Hamzat” militia imposed a siege on the village of Fireriye today for a period of three hours, and put up barriers at the entrance to the village and prevented citizens from entering and leaving the village.

On December 3, 2020, a bombing attack was carried out in a military vehicle in the village of Basufan, which resulted in the killing of a Turkish officer called “Muhammad Aalton” and a leader in Failaq Al-Sham militia called “Hamza Abu Zaid”. The militia launched arrest campaigns against dozens of citizens, including women. And imposed a suffocating siege on the village, and imposed ransoms for their release.
