New campaign of arrests in Baadina and Jenderes … affected 6 Kurdish citizens, including women

Yesterday, Sunday, the Turkish occupation authorities launched an arbitrary arrest campaign in the town of Baadina and the city of Jenderes in the countryside of the occupied Afrin region, and resulted in the arrest of six citizens, including two women.

In the context, the Afrinpost correspondent in Jenderes district reported that “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia of the Turkish occupation army, on Sunday 6/12/2020, kidnapped four citizens from the neighborhood of Tahtani in the city of Jenderes, under the pretext of working for the former Autonomous Administration institutions .

The reporter documented the names of the kidnapped, (1- Muhammad Haj Youssef Bahar 2- Khaleda Sheikh Murad 3- Amina Abdo Murad 4- Ahmed Haj Gulin), noting that their fate is still unknown until now.

The city of Jenderes also witnessed the arrest of three settlers from the village of Salwa in Idlib countryside, in the wake of the bombing that struck the city about a week ago.

In a related context, the Turkish occupation authorities launched a new arrest campaign in Baadina town of Rajo district, a joint patrol of Turkish intelligence and the “Military Police” militia, yesterday, Sunday, arrested each of the citizens (Muhammad Habash Hanoo / 55 / years, Muhammad Hussein Dahdo, 30, and took them to its center in Rajo sub-district.

The Turkish occupation authority in Afrin region continues to invest in the freedom of the remaining Kurdish citizens, by carrying out kidnapping and arrest operations against them, and then demanding ransoms and financial royalties from their families, in the operational implementation of the policy of harassment and displacement that has been in place since mid-March 2018.
