Turkish occupation authorities recruiting more mercenaries to send them to Azerbaijan, in light of military tension between militias

Afrinpost – Special

The Turkish occupation authorities continue to recruit more mercenaries in the occupied Afrin region with the intention of sending them to Azerbaijan, in light of the continuing tension between the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia on one hand and the militias of “Sultan Murad and the alShamiya Front” on the other hand due to an armed man from the first party attacking an element of “Sultan Murad”.

According to the Afrinpost correspondent in the Kurdish Region Center, 30 militants, of “Sami Ratyan Group” that are affiliated with “al-Hamza Squad” militia, are preparing to travel to Azerbaijan, but they are concerned about not getting their financial dues, because the leaders of “al-Hamzat” are not committed, and they steal the salaries of their members. Therefore, these mercenaries are thinking of going under the banner of the “Sultan Murad” militia, which has a Turkmen majority, in order to ensure that they get their financial dues, noting that the latter pays an advance of 500 US dollars before departure to Azerbaijan. Despite the tripartite ceasefire agreement in Karabakh / Artsakh, signed between Putin, Aliyev and Pashnban.

In a related context, tension continues to prevail between the militias of “Sultan Murad” and “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” since yesterday, after an element of the latter hit another member of the “Sultan Murad” militia and confiscated his weapons in Afrin, followed by the departure of elements from Sultan Murad to City streets, demanding the surrender of the aggressor, amid shooting in the air, and threatening to arrest members of Ahrar al-Sharqiya.
