Afrinpost – Special
The so-called Fadel Horo continues his cooperation with the occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood militia in Rajo district, and dismisses the mayor of the village of Qara Baba because of his “lack of cooperation,” while preparations are made for dismissing more mayors.
The Afrinpost correspondent reported that the head of Rajo’s council, Fadel Horo, dismissed the mayor of Qara Baba, Shukri Bakr, and appointed a substitute for him. The reason is that he did not cooperate as required, not responding to the instructions directed to him, and did not provide intelligence about the people.
The correspondent added that there are preparations to change a number of mayors in other villages, especially the town of Meydan Ikbis, for the same reason. It appears that Fadel Horow is about to dismiss all the mayros who criticized the status quo and the militia’s behavior and talked about the people’s problems in the last meeting he held with mayors at the town council’s headquarters.
Fadel Horo previously called on the people at the beginning of the season to harvest the olive harvest and pledged to them that none of the militia gunmen would interfere in harvesting the crop and that no royalties would be paid, once licenses were obtained from the local council, but the reality is that the militias do not give any consideration to the municipal councils. It was reported that the so-called Horo is sharing direct gains with the militias over the people of the district.
