Regime’s checkpoints impose a siege on the displaced people of Afrin in Shahba areas

Afrinpost – Special

For the third day in a row, the security checkpoints of the Syrian regime impose a siege on Shahba areas, preventing food and fuel supplies from reaching displaced people of Afrin living in the camps and towns in the area.

According to the Afrinpost correspondent in the region, the imposed siege includes all basic materials such as flour, medicine, fuel and school materials, despite the onset of winter and the spread of the Covid-18 epidemic in the region.

Since the occupation of Afrin region in March 2018, the Autonomous Administration in al-Shahba has been distributing fuel oil free of charge to the displaced people, and with the approaching winter season of 2020-2021, it has been distributed to many villages in all areas of Tal Rifaat. .
