The Turkish occupation authorities and the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood continue to arrest Kurdish citizens in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin in northern Syria, extort them and impose royalties on them in exchange for their release, as part of the policy of harassment and displacement pursued with the aim of evacuating the Kurdish region of its original inhabitants.
In the context, the “Afrinpost” correspondent reported that the “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya” militia, on Monday November 23, kidnapped five Kurdish citizens from the village of Baflor in Jenderes district, including four women, they are:
1- Adeeb Mustafa Abbas, 2- Aisha Hassou Hamid (Adeeb Abbas’s wife), 3 Farida Hamo Hussein, 4 Amina Hamid Hanan, 5 Shafiqa Muhammad.
According to the correspondent, the militia took the detainees to its headquarters in the center of Janders district, and asks their families a ransom of 2,000 Turkish liras for each one of them, in exchange for release.
In a related context, the “Military Police” militia, on Sunday, November 22nd, arrested five Kurdish citizens from the town of “Mobata / Maabatli”, on charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration.
The arrested citizens are: 1 _ Muhammad Hussein Yusef, 2 _ Nour al-Din Hamid Jojo, 3 _ Muhammad Yusef Jojo, 4 _ Ramzi Hanan Aliko, 5 _ Zuhair Mustafa Shaabu.
The Turkish intelligence also arrested the 27-year-old citizen “Hoker Mustafa Alo,” from the village of Dike/ Bulbul, from his home in the center of Afrin, days after the release of his father, Mustafa Kolin Alo, who was arrested while passing through a checkpoint o the “Military Police” militia at the “Kokani” village junction of “Mobata / Maabatli” district, to be released at a later time.
