Afrinpost – Special
On Friday, November 27, the village of Kimareh, in the Sherawa district, witnessed a horrific crime, when an armed group killed the elderly Abd al-Rahman Hamo (70 years) and the young Hamo Jangiz Najjar (14 years old), as well as the injury of the young Masoud Majid Hussein (30 years old) by shooting at his feet, while a fourth person fled the scene of the crime, while they were carrying out agricultural work and grazing in the vicinity of their village occupied by Ankara and its Muslim Brotherhood militia.
Regarding the details of the crime, a resident of the village told “Afrinpost“, asked not to mention his name for security reasons, that the son of the martyr elderly hid behind a rock when they were targeted by heavy bullets, after which a militia from the Muslim Brotherhood called the “Syrian National Army / Jaish al-Hur” arrived to him and he asked him why they were in the area.
The Kurdish young man answered him that they were working in their field, knowing that he was plowing the field, while his father “Abd al-Rahman” was tending livestock 400 meters away from him, indicating that at that time, the shooting had stopped, and then other militants from the Muslim Brotherhood militia headed to the child “Hamo” and they killed him with bullets and from close range, pointing to the village being occupied by “al-Hamza Division” militia.
A video spread on social media, showing the body of the martyr “Hamo Najjar” wounded by several bullets, including two sniper shots, according to one of the speakers in the video.
To further clarify the circumstances of the crime, the Afrinpost contacted a local source with accurate knowledge of the area’s geography. He reported that the crime scene is located in an area called “Samaquki”, about 2 km to the northeast of the village, where a military post of the Turkish occupation army is stationed on the northern side of the village, fortified with surveillance devices.
Stressing the impossibility of carrying out this crime in cold blood and in complete comfort (without informing that point), as the information indicates that the killers tortured the Kurdish minor and elderly before they were liquidated, and then emptied dozens of bullets into their bodies, in broad daylight.
The source said that the Turkish occupation and its militias carried out that crime, and deliberately blamed the “Afrin Liberation Forces” fighters, especially since the family of the martyr “Hamo” was not in harmony with the previous Autonomous Administration.
Adding that, after the execution of the crime, the occupation artillery fired several shells at empty areas in the vicinity of the neighboring village of Soghanakeh / Soughana, to suggest that the perpetrators of the crime had fled towards that village.
It is noteworthy that when the families of the two martyrs visited the Turkish military point, with the intention of receiving the bodies, they told them that they were not in possession of it, but later, they delivered the bodies of the two martyrs to their families.
