A Kurdish citizen was killed under torture in Marate Central Prison in Afrin

Yesterday, Monday, the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood killed a Kurdish citizen under torture in Marate Central Prison, about two months after he was arrested from his home in the city of Jenderes in the countryside of the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, northern Syria.

According to intersecting sources, a joint patrol of the Turkish intelligence and Military Police militia, among them masked men, delivered the body of the martyr Luqman Yusef son of Mustafa to his family residing in the Yalanquz neighborhood in Jenderes city, after midnight on Monday, at one o’clock.

The occupation authorities handed over the martyr’s family a medical report stating his death as a result of a heart attack. He was buried today, Tuesday, in the cemetery of the village of “Yalanqoz” in Jenderes area, under the supervision of the occupation authorities, in order to ensure that it confirms its story and that things do not go out of their control. Several sources confirmed to “Afrinpost” that the Kurdish detainee died under torture.

Luqman was arrested on the third of last September, as part of a widespread campaign against the employees of the Jenderes Local Council, he worked as an administrative in it. The martyr Luqman is thirty-six years old and has 3 children, and he is from the village of “Tarmishah” affiliated with Shiye / Sheikh Al-Hadid, ”but his family has lived in Jendires for decades.

As a result, the Turkish occupation authorities released about 30 detainees, including (Dilgash Jamil Hamo – Rushdi Amin – Khurshid Amin).
