The citizen Maya of the people of Afrin residing in al-Shahba canton, was injured after the explosion of a landmine left over from ISIS mercenaries.
According to the Afrinpost correspondent in the region, a mine from the remnants of ISIS mercenaries exploded at noon on Saturday, which resulted in the injury of Maya Kul, a 43-year-old citizen, from the village of Jalameh, who is forcibly displaced and resides in Tel Rifat district in al-Shahba area.
The correspondent reported that Maya sustained injuries in the leg, and was taken directly to Avrin Hospital in Fafin district in Al-Shahba. According to hospital staff, the condition of Maya’s citizen is almost stable, and she is under observation and treatment in the hospital.
It is noteworthy that from time to time the landmines that ISIS planted in the lands and fields explode during their occupation of the Al-Shahba area.
