The “White Helmets” seized several real estates in the vicinity of the water tower in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood in order to set up a camp.
The correspondent of “Afrinpost” confirmed that the organization’s vehicles have begun to settle the grounds for establishing a camp on it and accommodating new settlers there, noting that the real estate belong to each of the Kurdish citizens: “Naser is from Qibar village, Hannan Naser from Qibar village, Mahmoud Kalash from Qibar village – and the citizen Mohammad Ali”.
In a related context, a gunman of “Basel Maraanawi” group, which is affiliated with the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, sold a house belonging to the Kurdish citizen “Muhammad Abu Elias”, where a settler from Idlib province bought it, and the house is located in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, sold for $ 1,000.
Also the so-called “Abu Ali” who is also a militia member of the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia, sold the house of Kurdish citizen “Fawzi Khalil”, which is located in the vicinity of “Maysaloun” school in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood, to another militant, for $ 1,700.
Since the first day of the Turkish military occupation, the occupation divided the Kurdish region of Afrin into sectors, and one militia took control of each sector, to seize what it desires of property, houses, cars, factories, workshops and livelihoods of the displaced Kurds, the original residents of Afrin, who the unjust Turkish war forced them to leave their land and forcibly displace it.
