Video: first films of “Laylun International Film Festival” shown at “Barkhadan” and “Sardam” camps

The Laylun International Film Festival in Al-Shahba canton, on Tuesday evening, presented its first films participating in the festival.

Laylun International Film Festival organized by Cinema Afrin Committee, Afrin canton branch in Al-Shahba, presented its first films to participate in the festival’s screenings yesterday, Tuesday, on the stage of Barkhadan and Sardam Camps in Al-Shahba.

During the first day, 11 films were shown, including both short and long. In Barkhadan camp, the film “Hunger” written in India by the director Katiban Shikyuriye was shown, and the film “For Freedom” by the Kurdish director Arsene Celik, filmed in the regions of northern and eastern Syria.

At the same time, the film “The Sky Cry”, filmed in Iraq by the director Shahram Qadir, was shown in Sardam camp, followed by the screening of the film “Bedoun” prepared by the director Herbat Bey in Poland, in addition to the screening of the film “Saad Olive Tree” filmed in Iran by Ahmed Al-Ziri. The film “The Mountain”, filmed in Iran by Timur Ghediri, was also shown, “Mr. Self”, from Bulgaria, and another” film from Morocco by director Karim Tadjoua under the name “Taif Al Zaman”.

Then the film “Face Boom”, filmed in Italy by Massimo Finley, was shown, and the latest film was entitled “This side and the other side” filmed in Iran by director Jawad Gangi.

The films that were shown on the first day focused on different topics and events about history, disasters and events witnessed by all regions of the world, as the festival will continue on its second day in a row with the screening of its films in Barkadan and Sardam camps today, Wednesday, at the same time.
