A source from Afrin stated that the circumstances of the martyrdom of the citizen, “Khalil Sido Muhammad,” 38, are suspicious from the village of “Sharqiya” in the district of “Bulbul / Bulbul,” who used to reside in the center of Jenderes district.
“Khalil” was killed on the 30th of last August, as a result of severe internal bleeding in the intestine, while he was being treated from his home in the center of Jenderes district to a hospital in Afrin.
The martyrdom came after Khalil was kidnapped three days before his death by the militants of al-Jabha al-Shamiya militia, who accused him of dealing with Autonomous Administration previously, and he was beaten and tortured, and with the deterioration of his health condition, the militia released him, and he was handed over to his family. He was to be martyred after three days, according to the Human Rights Organization – Afrin
He had previously kidnapped “Khalil”, in August 2018, by the militants of al-Jabha al-Shamiya militia as well, on the same charge, which is dealing with the previous “Self-Administration”, meaning the same militia and the same charge, and was then beaten and tortured, and he was released after he paid a ransom of one and a half million Syrian pounds, after they demanded a ransom of three million Syrian pounds, and due to the inability of his family to pay the amount, it was reduced.
In a similar incident, on the seventh of last July, the citizen Abd al-Rahman Ibish Baku (38 years), from the village of “Kurzeli / Karzaihal”, who had been kidnapped by the “Hamza Brigade” militia gunmen, and imprisoned for a period of two months, was martyred. During this period, he was subjected to the most severe torture and beatings, and he was killed days after his release.
