The settlers brought by the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization from the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama, Idlib, Aleppo and others, continue their violations and abuses in the Kurdish region of Afrin following its occupation in March 2018, to be their tools for demographic change and the completion of the forced displacement of the Kurdish indigenous population.
In this regard, these settlers steal pomegranates from the fields of the villages of Basouta and Burj Abdalo, and sell them in Al-Hal market. The pomegranates were stolen from the field of the Kurdish citizen “Muhammad Ibrahim” and “Khalil Ali in the village of Al-Basouta, and also from the field of the citizen“ Khalil Hassan ”and“ Muhammad Battal ”from the village of“ Burj Abdalo ”.
In a related context, the “Electricity Company” is stealing and extracting telephone lines poles in the village of “Qarah Tabah” and “Qibar” and on the main Aleppo-Afrin road, through a contractor from the “Kabsu” family, who is from the city of Tal Rifaat, to be installed in the city of Afrin, where the bills are calculated on the budget of the local council, even though it is stolen.
