Settlers attack a 70-year-old Kurdish man in Hasandera village under the pretext of peeping at their women!

Afrinpost – Special

Today, Monday, settlers assaulted a Kurdish citizen, “Bakr Hesso” (70 years old), for going out on the roof of his house with the aim of installing solar panels, according to reliable sources of Afrinpost.

The sources pointed out that the elderly “Hesso” went out today to the roof of his house, to install solar panels for generating electricity. However, the settlers (who are from Idlib) who occupy the next house considered the matter a peeping their women! So they beat him and insulted him as well, even though he was an old man.

The sources added that the Kurdish elderly approached the so-called “Abu Jumaa” the security man of the “Jaish Al-Ahfad” militia in the village, and filed a complaint to him, but he justified the settlers’ actions on the pretext that “It is forbidden to go out to the roofs of houses because women are not supposed to be seen! Saying to him, “You are lucky, that they did not attacked you with weapons!”

Since the occupation of Afrin, the people of the Kurdish region have suffered from continuous violations, by the plane of the Turkish occupation and the settlers and the militia of the Free Army / National Army, which aims to push the largest possible number of Kurds to displace Afrin, and leave their land and property to the settlers who were brought by the occupation to settle instead of the original people.
