Yesterday, Sunday, the thirteenth of September, Turkish intelligence agents arrested a number of Kurdish citizens from the “Mobata / Maabatli” district on charges of dealing with the previous autonomous administration, and took the detainees to its headquarters for the purpose of extortion and the collection of ransom for their release. Namely:
1- Imad Khanjar bin Hussein (an employee of the Local Council).
2- Ibrahim Sidqi (municipality worker in the local council).
3 _ Shukri Hamoto bin Hassan (Local Council Transportation Officer).
4- Izzat, from the village of Mirkan, deputy director of education in the local council of the sub-district. He was released hours after his kidnapping, while the three citizens remained in detention until now, without knowing their fate.
The “Military Police” militia, using a Turkish military armored vehicle, and accompanied by armed men belonging to the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” militia, raided the village of Qasim, in Rajo district, on Wednesday the 9th of September.
Two citizens of the village were arrested on charges of dealing with the previous autonomous administration and compulsory service, for the purpose of extortion and collecting the ransom, and they were taken to the prison in the district center, and then they were transferred to the city of Afrin to present them to trial in order to impose the financial fine under the name (bond bail) in exchange for their release and the two citizens They are: 1- Ageed Sheikho Sheikho. 2- Jalal Muhammad Sheikho.
On Friday / September 11th, the “police” militia arrested three Kurdish citizens from the “Mobata / Maabatli” district on charges of dealing with the Autonomous Administration. The detainees were: 1-Ibrahim Khanjar, 2-Ismat Khujah, 3-Ahmed Mishko, after four days of Turkish intelligence arrested members of the local council in Mobata district.
On Wednesday the 9th of September, the “Military Police” militia arrested “Subhi Rizk,” head of the local occupation council, in the district of Jenderes.
It is noteworthy that the recent arrest campaigns target workers in the councils and institutions created by the Turkish occupation, so it becomes clear that the goal is to restrict the Kurdish employees and push them to leave their work, to appoint settlers in their place.
