“Al-Waqqas” militia kidnapped a Kurdish youth in Shieh district in Afrin

Afrinpost correspondent in Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid district said that armed men from the “Waqqas Brigade” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization, yesterday, Monday the 31st of last August, kidnapped the Kurdish young Qaziqli Jamil Maho (23 years) from the village of Hekejeh of the Shieh district, under the pretext of serving in the Self-Defense Forces during the Autonomous Administration era, and his fate remains unknown until now.

In a related context, Al-Waqqas militia released all the former abductees from the village of “Hekejeh” after each person paid one thousand Turkish liras.

It is noteworthy that the kidnappings carried out by the Waqqas militia in the village of Hekejeh took place in two batches. On the fifteenth of last August, five citizens were kidnapped, including two women: Hannan Sabri Tana, Malak Subhi Halabi, Zahida Khalil Sheikh Mustafa, Maqboola Abdo Tana, Fawzi Muhammad Tana ”.

Prior to that, the “Waqqas Brigade” militia had, on the ninth of last August, kidnapped three Kurdish citizens from their homes from the same village, they were (Muhammad Sabri (58 years), Fawzi Sabri (56 years), Hassan Sabri (49 years). At that time, the “Afrinpost” correspondent stated that the militia had asked their families to pay a ransom in exchange for their release.
